The 7th annual Martinis Marchi event was an exclusive night of fun and indulgence. For the quaint island town of Šolta, the first weekend of August is the biggest night of the year! Hosted by Sunseeker Adriatic, this exciting and lively party at the beautiful hotel, Martinis Marchi, was once again a fabulous event attended by 50 Sunseeker guests.

The beautiful island of Šolta is a precious gem in the Dalmatian coast’s crown. The island dates back to antiquity and its rich history is reflected in its beautiful cobbled streets and authentic, antique galić wines.

Martinis Marchi, the historic castle turned beautiful accommodation, sits prominently above the bay of Maslinica. This 17thcentury castle combines subtle rustic luxury with contemporary poolside glamour. Nowadays, this spot has become one of the most sought-after destinations in the Adriatic. Despite being quaint, the Maslinica marina can berth 50 plus boats, with spaces for vessels of up to 30 meters. 

On the night, the contingent of Sunseekers stole the show, featuring 10 boats in total: The Manhattan 63, Yacht 86, Predator 82, Predator 52, Predator 68, Predator 74 and the Manhattan 52. Sunseeker vessels lined the ancient marina like its old naval counterparts which protected the castle from medieval pirates.

Dancers and musicians performed into the night along the amphitheater of the marina. Upon reaching the hotel, guests were greeted with a champagne reception from Mumm champagne and a display of groovy neon and glittery disco ball decoration. The Abba cover band performed whilst guests enjoyed a delicious spread of everything from lobster spaghetti to prime rib, pasticada to veal risotto and an amazing selection of Croatian smoked meats and cheese. 

Guests were offered funky neon festival face painting and a fashion show put together by the renowned Zagreb designer Zoran Aragovic. The party marched on with illusionists, acrobats and musicians performing the best of the 70s. Guests were offered the opportunity to be their own disco kings and dancing queens, before finishing the night off with a splash and jumping into the pool!  Guests were offered a build-your-own burger bar as a late-night treat.
